Quince Tencel Jersey Fit and Flare Dress Review
I’m back with another review of Quince clothing.
Last time, I shared my thoughts on their popular linen pieces. This time, I’m testing out one of their Tencel Jersey Dresses.
Follow along to see if it’s hit or miss for gals our age.

As the humid August weather rolls in, a cute, comfy sundress that keeps you cool is at the top of your mind. Finding the right one that checks all the boxes is always challenging.
It’s got to be lightweight, figure-flattering, comfy, and just the right length. This lovely dress from Quince is all of the above, plus it’s not expensive!
Less is More
Let me start by saying it’s a very simple dress, but that is the beauty of it. You can do so much with this quality basic, dressing it up or down and styling it in many ways. (We’ll get to that).
I love the feminine fit and flare shape, which is universally flattering since it mimics an hourglass shape.
The scoop neckline is gorgeous and – not too low, but it does show some decolletage, which is very youthful.
Brown is Trending
I also love this deep brown color with a copper cast. Brown is trending this summer, and this is a nice change from all the hot brights we’ve been seeing. It’s quiet but rich and sophisticated. If brown isn’t for you, it comes in 6 other elegant shades.
Comfort Plus
And boy is this dress comfy. Since it is a Tencel jersey, it is ultra soft, like pajamas, and is breathable and moisture-wicking.
It stretches to your shape without being tight.
The fabric is a little thin, so wear a good t-shirt bra (nude) so everything is very smooth, and you don’t see any bra lines.
I found this dress runs true to size. I’m wearing a small.
Two Ways to Wear It
This dress looks great worn as is, without any layering piece, when it’s really hot. That’s how I wore it at the beach, although I added a straw belt to highlight my waist and add some texture.
If you are a gal who prefers to cover her arms for whatever reason, then you can pair it with a linen camp shirt, like I have. Knotting it in the front gives you a chic layered look.
The smooth jersey and more natural linen mix is a gorgeous combination that adds some needed texture to this outfit.
Adding Accessories
Big chunky jewelry, like my Cat’s eye necklace, square hoop earrings, and bracelet from Dean Davidson, also uplevels the look!
Do you see my Straw Tote? I’ve styled this with? It’s got a faux leather handle and a modern half-moon shape, which I’m really into.
As for my shoes, I went with these chic snake print sandals, so the outfit wasn’t all plain, solid colors.
Light and Flowy
Look how beautifully this dress moves and what a great length it is. (A lot of sundresses are very short). I’m 5’7″, and the hem hits a couple of inches below my knee, so you can easily wear heels with these square toe snakeprint sandals, if you like.
However, feel free to style it with sneakers or flat sandals. This dress works with all heel heights.
