Classy Swimsuits for Women Over 50 That Show You’ve Still Got It!

Your body may not be as fit, firm, and wrinkle-free as it was at 30 or even 40, but that doesn’t mean you can’t rock a swimsuit at 50+ and look fabulous at the beach.

Here are some classy new swimsuits for women over 50 guaranteed to make you look and feel modern, youthful, and confident.

Alluring Twist Front Swimsuit

Let me start by saying that when it comes to the best swimsuits for women over 50, whatever you want to wear to the beach is your business.

So, if you feel like a hot babe in a thong bikini at 40, 50, or more, please go right ahead! However, for many women, there’s a feeling that comes with getting older of wanting a more sophisticated type of Swimsuit – one that provides more coverage without making you seem dowdy and is even a little alluring too!

This rust twist-neck swimsuit is a good example. It oozes chic and feels modern, youthful, and sexy.  Simplicity is the key. This gorgeous sarong-style wrap coverup is the perfect complement. Add a classy straw tote, barely there sandals, and Hollywood-size sunglasses for an elegant beach look. Finally, don’t forget a cool straw hat – your crowning glory, Queen!

Buckle up, baby!! I love this stunning empire waist swimsuit with the cool gold buckle and the flattering ruching. This feels very fresh, sophisticated, and vavoom – almost futuristic! Comes in this beautiful coral and other stunning brights, plus navy and a print. I’d love to try this on!

Mood Ring Print Swimsuit

Here’s a beautiful swimsuit that will show off your curves, even if you don’t have many!

This stunning one-piece is made from a special compression fabric that molds and shapes your figure into an hourglass. The mystical mood ring print is gorgeous with its soft diagonal lines that range from lighter on top to darker on the bottom to help carve out a sexy shape.

I’ve paired it here with a semi-sheer black wrap-edged in playful pompoms. Add some sleek black statement sandals and a big black straw tote for a sophisticated beach look.

Tropical Tankini

If you prefer a tankini to a one-piece or bikini, this tropical two-some is a winner.  Bright prints like this are cheery, fresh, and a great way to look vibrant by the pool. This swimsuit has a lovely halter neckline that doesn’t dip too low. Side ruching helps camouflage tummy trouble spots.

Lace is a great way to add some sizzle, and the nice thing about this pretty lace coverup is it won’t hide your print. Add pops of white and wicker to make the look pop!

Tie One On!

This chic swimsuit is always so popular they bring it back year after year but in new and unique colors like this regal teal. I love this swimsuit’s relaxed, breezy feel and the effortless elegance of that side tie. Always a winner in my books! P.S.I also linked a similar bestselling swimsuit but with no side tie.

One Shoulder Sensation

One-shoulder swimsuits are one of the best ways to go when you want to look feminine, sexy, and appropriate. This orange one is stunning. I love the strap cut; it’s nice and wide, and its subtle texture gives it an interesting dimension.

Super bright colors like orange, pink, and yellow are trending this spring. They look fabulous offset with something white, like this super pretty eyelet coverup. Natural-looking accessories complement this sunny look and enhance the vacation vibe.

  1. I absolutely loved two of the above. Was disappointed that the link for both took me to Nordstrom, which does not ship to Canada!😟

  2. Thanks for the post. I have switched to swim shorts and a tankini top, never returning. The sorts are comfortable, and there’s no tugging or exposing my backside. Very happy with them.

  3. I was so excited to see the animal print swimsuit at Nordstrom. I went to the site, showing the cheetah print for $91.00. However, the actual suit is a snake print that can be ordered. I don’t care for snake print and cannot find the actual case on any other website. The tankini top in the same print/designer is available for $91.00, but a bottom must also be ordered. Disappointing, but I will keep looking.

  4. I love these posts! Can you please do another winter getaway post on what to pack that’s casual yet polished?

It's your life. Make it Fabulous!
