2 Cute Spring Outfit Ideas with the Latest Mother Jeans

Are you looking for new jeans and don’t know where to start? I was in the same boat until I went on vacation, went shopping, and tried on a couple dozen pairs! Here are two new jeans I ended up with and the cute tops I bought to go with them. I’ll also include a few outfit ideas below if you need some extra inspiration.

Spring Outfit Ideas

Outfit # 1 Mother Jeans – Hustler Ankle Fray

Mother Hustler Jeans | blue top | white bag | Castle ring | Blue earrings  | necklace | silver  sandals

I had heard so much about Mother Hustler jeans that I couldn’t wait to try them, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint.

These are Mother’s bestselling high-waisted jeans. They are pricey, but I feel they are worth it. They are crop flares with a high-rise style, and they are super soft and comfy. I like that they fit true to size.

This powdery blue wash is beautiful, and the ragged hem complements it (although I did trim the strings a little). Check out if you like a clean edge or a different color.

I’m wearing these jeans with this pretty, slightly edgy button-up shirt. It has a lovely, smooth, and silky feel. You may remember I also wore them with this cute top in another post.

Does this top have a snake print or a leopard print? It’s hard to tell, isn’t it? The product description says it’s a mix of animal prints. Whatever the case, the light blue makes it look much more feminine than actual dark animal print colors.

I also love how wearing blue from head- to toe creates a slimming, monochromatic look.

These breezy slides are silver, which is very on-trend. I love a touch of metallic to turn up the glam!

Did you notice my fabulous ring? It’s from Dean Davidson. This is his mini castle ring, which takes its cue from Dean’s Scottish heritage.

There is a larger size for the evening, but this is the perfect new size for the day. I love the color of this stunning man-made stone—it’s such a gorgeous midnight blue! If you want a ring like this for yourself,  first-time buyers at Dean Davidson get 15% off with code Deborah15.

You can see my earrings here. These are Dean’s Signature Revival denim blue earrings – the perfect match for this outfit. You can see them better in the product carousel above.

Outfit # 2 Mother Jeans – The Tripper Ankle Jeans

These next jeans are also from Mother but have a different look and feel. These are the Mother Tripper Ankle Jeans. They’re high-rise jeans with a deep navy wash and a clean, straight-edge hem. The fly has a button closure.

I love the elegant, more formal look of these. They’re dressy enough that you could even wear them to work on casual work days.

I know they’d look great with a blazer, but I have paired them with this perky green pintuck pleat top for a casual everyday look.

This cotton top is light and very comfortable, which is what I like to wear when I’m working from home.

The length of these jeans is just above the ankle, and the pant legs have a small flare – perfect for showing off these chic silver sandals.

So there are my two new pairs of Mother jeans—very opposite, but both really great finds! Now, want to see more tops I paired with these jeans for some cute spring outfits?

Knotted V-Neck

Tie-front tops are great for creating the illusion of an hourglass figure—I won’t pass that up! The dolman cap sleeves maintain a timeless look for the more modern v-neck style, and this pretty orchid pink is perfect for spring. It would look fabulous with either pair of Mother Jeans.

Wrap Blouse

This is another top that would look fabulous with both light and dark denim. When you want a classy and glamorous look, look no further. It has a round neck and elbow-length sleeves, making it ideal for more upscale occasions. It comes in both “Radiant Amethyst” and “Deep Flame Orange”, but amethyst just screams spring time!

Romantic Floral Top

What a find—this floral top will make you look blooming beautiful! I think it would look fabulous paired with the light Mother jeans, that way you won’t have to worry about too much contrast. This top features full blouson sleeves and a v-neck point collar to create a stunning, feminine look.

Floral V-Neck Popover

Have you ever heard of a popover? It’s a traditional shirt or blouse with a relaxed fit, meant to “pop” over your heard—the name is kind of self-explanatory I guess, lol! If you like the romantic floral top but you don’t love the long sleeves, this V-neck popover is just as timeless. It’s a great alternative for those warmer spring days!

Linen Blend Smocked Top

This top kind of looks like the first one, don’t you think? Instead, it features a fun “blissful meadow” pattern that screams “Spring.” There’s a light smocking at the neckline to add a bit of elegance and structure, but the top itself is very lightweight and breathable. I think it would look fabulous with the Mother Hustler fray jeans.

Tulip Sleeve Top

Whenever I think of spring time fashion, pink and yellow always pop into my mind—this tulip sleeve top fortunately has both! It’s made from crinkled crepe, so you won’t have to worry about overheating when you wear it out. You can also dress this spring outfit up or down depending on the vibe!
