3 Comfy Leggings Outfits to Wear on a Long Flight

Recently, I was asked about the one favorite thing I can’t travel without. When I fly, I always take a cozy wrap. But the other thing I like to wear to be warm and comfy is a soft pair of leggings. Here are three leggings looks that are perfect to wear on a long flight.

1.  Asymmetrical Sweater and Leggings

On a plane, you can’t get any comfier than leggings unless you wear pajamas, and I don’t advise you to do that! Try medium-weight black Ponte leggings with a nice, long sweater. Asymmetrical tops are modern and look really great with leggings. Don’t forget a scarf for your neck. It adds to the cool factor, and it can be used for many things,  just like a cashmere wrap.

Low suede boots are an excellent alternative to flat shoes once the cold weather arrives. Don’t forget to bring a simple bag, a little larger than you’d typically carry, as there are always a few select items you’ll want to keep close.

2.  Shirtdress with Leggings

Short shirtdresses make fabulous tunics to wear with leggings. This lace-up shirtdress is an excellent example of that. Worn with some statement sneakers, it makes a sporty airport look that is both practical and cute.

3.  Striped Tunic and Leggings

It’s hard to find that perfect top that won’t leave you feeling too hot or too cold on an airplane,  but this one comes pretty close. This long striped tunic with the big front pockets is relaxed, comfy, and looks cute over stretchy black leggings. Wear this outfit with a pair of ballet flats and a roomy tote; you’ve got an attractive vacation look that lets you travel in style.
