It may have a ferocious name, but Sharkskin Gray is a calm and gentle color. Pantone has named it one of the top neutrals for fall/winter 2016, and you’ll be seeing a lot of it.
One of the reasons Gray is so popular is that it is a fabulous background color to visually support all the other gorgeous fall shades out there. The flattering neutral brings sophistication to any wardrobe. It looks rich paired with Aurora Red, Meadow Green and many more.
Gray with Blue
It looks especially sharp with all the beautiful blue out there this fall. Paired with blue sharkskin gray takes on a slight blue hue of its own.
Sharkskin is also a practical color for those times when you want to look conservative and neutral. It’s sure not to offend at work.
In fact, some may feel gray is too boring to wear anywhere, but work. The surprise is that if you get the right cut/ fabric/style and Sharkskin gray can be quietly sexy.
Will you be wearing Sharkskin gray this fall? How will you wear it?
