I love to sparkle and shine at Christmastime, New Year’s, or any other special occasion where everyone is going all out to celebrate!

This year, @nordstrom has many fabulous, modern pieces to light you up. Check out these dazzling holiday party outfits that make me feel like a glam gal!

Holiday Outfit # 1

Silver Sequin Skirt

A short sequin skirt is such a chic way to shine, and this is a good one. I’ve wanted a sequin pencil skirt like this long and finally went for it.

I expected it to be a little tubular and tight, but this one has a great shape and is soft, light, and stretchy! It feels so good on, and it’s easy to walk in. Plus, the length is just perfect.

I’m normally a gold girl, but this year, silver is trending, so I went with that. To my surprise, I love the icy look!

Luxurious Cashmere

You can pair a sequin skirt with many things, like a satin blouse or a velvet top, but I love the modern look of luxurious cashmere with sequins.

Nordstrom has great cashmere, and I love that it comes in so many bold, beautiful colors like this hot pink. Isn’t the pink V-neck cashmere sweater with the silver a gorgeous combo?

You could go with a crew neck cashmere sweater, which Nordstrom also carries, but the V-neck feels more alluring with the skirt for a party.

Holiday Bling

You’ve got to have a little holiday bling to look festive, and my favorite is Dean Davidson at Nordstrom.  These are his mini Ipanema earrings, which have the most elegant shape.

I’m also wearing this pretty Petit Pavé necklace, which perfectly fills that V-neck. It’s got an adjustable length, which is handy.

No worries about mixing gold with the silver sequins. It’s cool these days to mix metals.

Silver Shoes

Oh, and let’s remember the shoes. These silver Nahla slingbacks are gorgeous. They look a little more champagne color here, but that’s just the reflection from the Christmas lights on the tree.

What I love about these is that they are great for a party, but you can wear them in dress pants or even jeans after the holidays. Silver shoes are in, and these are so fussy that they feel uber-dressy.

Holiday Outfit # 2

Metallic Jumpsuit

Do you like jumpsuits? This black and gold metallic jumpsuit caught my eye because it has a lot of sparkle, but it’s not wild like a costume.

It’s very lightweight, has a great shape, and flows beautifully when you walk. Look closely, and you’ll see it has a nice stretchy belt to give it some shape.

Showing your waist is important when wearing a jumpsuit. Otherwise, you can look pretty boxy.

Fuzzy Wuzzy Sweater

If you prefer just a touch of sparkle, then this third look is for you. It begins with a fuzzy, wuzzy eyelash knit sweater that feels as soft as a kitten.

I’ve added a beautiful blue Manhattan pendant necklace from Dean Davidson for a festive color.

Jewel Embellished Party Shoes

Now we get to the sparkle! Shoes are a great way to get a dazzling holiday party look without going overboard.

These gorgeous jeweled sandals have a square toe and a low heel, making them comfy and easy to wear for parties. I love the way the curvy straps zig-zag. It makes them feel feminine.

Here’s the total Fuzzy-Wuzzy sweater and sparkly sandals look. The pants are @spanx Perfect wide leg, which I think is a very elegant style for the holidays. I’m a huge Spanx fan because, quite honestly, no other pants shape your body and booty like these!
