Try this Cozy Way to Wear Black Faux Leather Leggings
I’m starting to get in the mood for fall. Yesterday, I showed you my beautiful new crisscross sweater from Nordstrom. I’m partnering with Nordstrom again to bring you another fab look – these faux leather pants and this cozy, convertible cowl neck sweater.

The older I get, the more I find comfort matters. I’m not interested in any rough, tight, or scratchy top. I wanted a soft, luxurious feel against my skin, so I was instantly attracted to this luxurious-looking Sweater.
What I can tell you is this sweater is cozy! If you were never sure what to wear with faux leather leggings, this knit in a cotton-rich blend is very light and super soft, like a little lamb.
I love the way the cowl neck gently drapes at the neckline. It’s so feminine and elegant.
The swingy trapeze shape is modern and fun, and the top is long. It’s perfect to wear with skinny jeans and leggings. When you pair a wide top like this over a skinny shape on the bottom and throw on a pair of heels, you have the recipe for a very slimming look.
Would you happen to like my purse? This is the Michael Kors Daniel Bag. I love the pretty plum shade and that rich gold chain. This is a crossbody bag, but there’s a bonus.
You can easily convert it into a clutch when you tuck the chain into a pocket at the back of the bag.
Now, let’s remember the pants. I’m wearing the pebbled leggings. I consider these fall wardrobes essential. I especially like that they’re matte and have a slight texture. Unlike black, shiny, biker-type leather leggings, they look tough and harsh. These are subtle and classy.
Here’s a look at the whole outfit from the side. See the beautiful shape? I was drawn to this pretty cream color. And there’s another surprise…..
You can wear this sweater off the shoulder too….ooh la la! A little spandex woven into the top makes it easy. Pull down the shoulders and arrange the neckline for a partial or full off-the-shoulder look. This is how I might wear this sweater in the evening if I was going out to dinner.
Here are my favorite shoes! I wore these Kate Spade Open Toe Booties, and I can’t say enough about how much I love them and how comfy they are. That chunky 3″ heel rocks!
Finally, jewelry always elevates an outfit. I love how these gold bangles add texture and make the plum bag pop. They also come in silver, and many lovely Kendra Scott earrings complement them.
You can shop via the product links below if you like this outfit. There are many more styles of women’s faux leather leggings at Nordstrom, so check those out, too. Check in for more cute fall things on the blog as they arrive.
