Pool Party Ready in a Tropical Maxi Dress!

Summer is wrapping up, and everyone is trying to get a little socializing in before the fall because who knows where we will be? I’ve had a few emails from readers about small gatherings, BBQs, and pool parties that are happening. Everyone is really excited about getting out of the house and dressing up a little.

So, what do you wear to look and feel party-ready as you wind up the holidays?  This pretty tropical maxi dress is a gorgeous way to celebrate and enjoy these last few days of summer.

If you’ve been following my blog, you know that I’ve really gotten into maxi dresses over the last couple of months. I’ve shared a few favorites – an animal print maxi, a floral pleated maxi, and a flowy scarf skirt maxi, to name a few. This is another beauty I picked up – a lively, tropical print maxi dress that makes me feel like I’m in Hawaii!

This simple, elegant dress is pure paradise. It’s perfect for any summer party with a beachy or tropical theme. It would also be great to take on vacation if you were going to a tropical island, cruise, or jungle-like. It’s perfect to pop on after a day of sightseeing or sunbathing and wear to a fabulous oceanside dinner!

I often get emails asking what to wear to a beach or destination wedding? This elegant tropical print maxi dress is just right for that too. You can dress it up with some statement jewelry as I have. This chunky statement necklace, beaded bracelet, and braided sandals go with the natural island vibe.

Don’t you love the colors? So fresh and tropical but not overpowering.

Maxis is such a nice change from a short dress, and imagine dancing in one? If You prefer long sleeves which I know many of you do, here is something similar.

Whether you wear this tropical maxi dress on vacation, to a destination wedding, or at home in the backyard, this is a great dress with classic style. Aloha!
