Slouchy may be chic, but how do you wear a slouchy sweater without looking sloppy? Here are four slouchy sweaters that oversized but O.K.

Slouchy sweaters send a message of relaxed elegance and look casually chic, but the key is to find one that doesn’t overpower. If you are new to this style, this pretty pink one is a good starter sweater. Yes, it has slouchy drop shoulders and a boxy cut, but it’s a cotton waffle knit, so it’s not thick and bulky like other sweaters might be.
Plus, that beautiful boat neck will widen your shoulders, which helps avoid the blocky look that an oversized sweater can give. This slouchy sweater is the perfect length for a half tuck in the front, so be sure to do that and add some definition to your waist.

Here’s a slouchy sweater in a totally different style. This is the oversized tunic sweater, one of my favorites. I recently wore a slouchy, burgundy tunic sweater with my favorite faux leather leggings, much like how this one is worn here.
Not only is a sweater like this very comfy, but that long over skinny silhouette is so chic. Be sure to push up the sleeves. It’s all part of that effortless look. You can get oversize tunic sweaters with various necklines, but I love this funnel neck because it feels clean and modern.
TIP: Pair your slouchy tunic with black booties and a crossbody for a classy, youthful look.

3. Slouchy Off the Shoulder
Here’s a feminine way to wear a slouchy sweater. Try it off your shoulder. This cute, slouchy, leopard print sweater is one of the more understated slouchy sweaters, which might be all you need to get the look.
TIP: Scrunch up the slouchy sleeves, and pull down the neckline for a sexy slouchy look that is very alluring.

4. Slouchy Cardigan
Slouchy cardigans, also known as grandpa cardigans ( I have a mustard grandpa cardigan), can be so oversized you look frumpy, but not this one. A marled gray cardigan (similar) gives you the slouchy effect without going overboard.
TIP: Be sure to wear something light and thin under your cardigan and something skinny below. You don’t want to end up looking like a grandpa bear.
