7 Fresh, New Spring Jeans to Try!

The seasons may change, but our love for jeans doesn’t! Jeans are in style all year round and at any age. If you’re looking for a fresh, new pair for spring, here are seven great-looking jeans that stand out from the crowd.Mott and bow jeans

1. Mott and Bow Slim Boyfriend (Grand)

I felt a bit panicked when I first heard skinny jeans were being put on the back burner, and it was time to look for a straight-leg pair. I did love my skinnies!  Luckily, these fabulous straight-leg jeans came to the rescue.

These jeans are from Mott and Bow, a brand I love and have worn before. They’re slim-style jeans, which means they’re close fitting like skinny jeans across the hips and thigh, but not looser from the knee to the ankle.  The quality is excellent, and so is the fit. They feel like they were made for me. I love the weight, classy dark wash, and they’re very soft.. These are definitely a new favorite!

2. Spanx Seamed Wide Leg

Have you bought a pair of full, wide-leg jeans yet? They’re a lot of fun to wear because they feel so glamorous and 70’s reto. The challenge is finding a pair that doesn’t make you look like wide, block from the waist down. These Spanx Seamed wide-leg jeans seem to do the trick.

They’re made from fabulous stretch denim. There’s no button or zipper, and of course, they have Spanx Hidden core shaping technology that flattens your tummy and lifts your booty! The color is a beautiful off-white, and I find them very flattering.

3. Spanx Flare Jeans

Here’s another popular Spring jean from Spanx. These are their chic flare jeans in a rich midnight shade. These long, gorgeous, high-rise pants are snug across the hips and thigh, then gently flare out at the knee. Again, there are no zippers or buttons.- you put them on, and they make your legs look like they go on for miles. These jeans also come in white. Do you remember the white Spanx Flares I wore last year? These are the same pair in dark blue.

Note*I’m 5’7”, and they are long, so I wear heels (which I think look best with this style), but if you don’t want them to be long, order them in petite.

4. Mott and Bow Slim Boyfriend (Mercer)

If you like a relaxed, but not too loose fit, you will love this pair of slim boyfriend jeans. They are roomier than a small cut but not as baggy as a classic boyfriend style. These jeans look best on gals with straighter figures, but I’m an hourglass and manage to pull it off since these are slimmer than most boyfriend jeans.

Add a vintage tee and turn up the pant hems for a cute, sporty summer look.

4. Spanx Stretch Twill

Blue jeans, white jeans…sometimes you want a change, and that’s why these Stretch Twill Cropped Pants by Spanx are trending right now. I was slow to try a wide-leg crop since I thought they would  make me look short and wide,  but this pair changed my mind.

I first wore these stretch twill pants last year in a dusty pink color.  This year Spanx has them in this rich Bronze Glow shade. I think these jeans work because they are stretchy across the hips, and widen out to a medium-wide pant leg, so they don’t overpower. These are a refined, body-sculpting version of wide-leg jeans, and they’re a hot seller.

6. Spanx Seamed Wide Leg Vintage

Remember the Spanx seamed front wide-leg jeans I showed you earlier in off-white (#2). These are the exact same pair, but they have a totally different vibe in this vintage blue wash. If you like a more boho laid-back look, then these jeans may be your summer go-to. They are super relaxed and comfy and look natural and summery with a pair of sneakers and a cute tee or sweatshirt.

7. Not Your Daughters Jeans Pull-on Skinny Ankle Jeans

I couldn’t end this post without telling you about a pair of cropped, skinny jeans I came across on Amazon. As mentioned earlier, I love my skinnies, and there’s still a place for them in fashion, especially worn with loose flowy tops or long shirts.

These jeans are chic because they are fitted, cropped, and have sexy, little slits at each ankle. You pull them on like jeggings. There’s no hardware to show through if you are wearing a long top under, and they have lots of stretch. I love the chic crop style ( that’s modern), and how smooth and crisp they look.

So there’s a look at a few spring jeans. Which will you be wearing and what will you wear them with? Join my Private Facebook group and post a photo for inspiration!
