Traditionally, it’s white, which isn’t always the most flattering color on midlife gals like me, who are starting to look a little washed out as we age. Thankfully, there are now eyelets in vivid colors like Royal Blue, Ginger Yellow, and rose red, among others.

Tropical  Midi Slip Dress

I’ve always liked the look of slip dresses but stayed away because they seemed so flimsy. However, I was drawn to this gorgeous color and tropical print, so I gave it a go.

It’s turned out to be a winner because it is a little thicker than most satiny fabrics and seems to have a little bit of shape to it.

I love how silky it feels, and the midi length, while on the shorter side of midi, is so flattering. This is the perfect vacation dress!
