The Aries woman wrote the book when it comes to ‘classics with a twist.’ She is an expert in taking the basics and elevating them to excellent. Take this casual outfit, for example. While there’s nothing more essential than a white button-down shirt and jeans outfit, the Aries woman will make it her own, unique with some subtle – and some not so fine – details.
In this case, it’s black jeans instead of blue with a fashion-forward cropped length and distressed hem. Trendy red booties and statement earrings give a nod to her fashion-forward side while a knockout embellished crossbody bag completes the look.

When it comes to dressing up, an over-40 Aries does well with a low-key piece worn in a fashion-forward way. I chose a classic sheath dress but in a gorgeous fiery red. The mixed-texture pumps (black on black suede), leopard print bag, and geometric earrings again show that the devil is in the details when it comes to style and the Aries woman.

I so did not realize that Jennifer Garner was over forty! The red shoe is perfect; I am drawn to a great rest shoe, which is really red in general. Sadly, sheath dresses don’t fit my shape, but I always want them to. I love an accessory with animal print and s good intense color: red, purple, or royal blue. You nailed it.
I love this post. I have been eagerly waiting for your Aries post. Red is my color. When shopping for new outfits, I’m always drawn to different and unexpected details, i.e., zippers on the shoulders of a top or a ruffle on a turtleneck sweater. People always want to know where I shop. I shop all over, but with an eye for details—classic with a twist. Solid colors are my go-to preference.
