I think the most important thing to looking fabulous at our age is having skin that absolutely glows. I’m o.k. with a few wrinkles here and there, but when I look in the mirror, I want to see healthy, bright, vibrant skin! When my skin glows, I look youthful and feel confident. A nice glow gives me a real zest for life!
Of all the beauty products I’ve tested to try to get “the glow,” some of the best have been from Colleen Rothschild. If you haven’t tried this award-winning skincare brand, this is a good time to do so.
I’ve used quite a few of these bestsellers before, with great results. Colleen Rothschild products are the perfect balance between natural ingredients and modern science, and I think that is why they work so well. Here are 4 of my top favorites and how they help me get my glow on.
Matcha Tea Treatment Toner
I used to think toners were just for oily skin. I used a toner as a teenager and into my 20’s, but I stopped as my skin got drier and more mature. I certainly didn’t think I needed it now that I’m in menopause. But somehow, I got onto this Matcha Tea Treatment Toner a couple of years ago, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
This toner is heavenly. It’s a blend of Matcha Tea, Japanese Green Tea, and Kombucha Black Tea, and it’s so light and mild that you are going to love it!
I use it a few days a week after cleansing my skin (with the Radiant Cleansing Balm, which I swear by) and always on heavy make-up days. It’s a pure, natural toner that detoxifies your skin and minimizes pores. You don’t have to worry about it stripping your skin or making it feel dry or tight. It’s lovely!
Retinol Supreme Night Oil
The next two products I like to alternate, depending on how my skin feels. First, there’s the Retinol Supreme Night Oil, a luxurious, pink-colored oil infused with Vitamin C and Retinol. Of course, both these ingredients are terrific for softening wrinkles and bringing lightness and brightness to our skin.
In this form, as a facial oil, it’s a gentle way to get renew your skin and get a glow. I use Retinol Supreme Night Oil 3-4 times a week, and I wake up looking like I have had a facial. If you have tried Retinol and/or Vitamin C before and found it harsh or medicinal, try this formulation instead. The Retinol Supreme Night Oil is very gentle, and it works. It’s also a beautiful product that gives you a totally luxurious experience.
Face Oil N°9
The other oil I also use is the Face Oil N°9. Some nights I want a break from Retinol. Maybe my skin is peeling a bit, or I don’t feel like a heavy-duty night treatment, so I use this in its place. The Face Oil N°9 is full of 9 gorgeous oils that plump up my skin and make it feel nourished and rested, and it’s non-greasy!
Often on a Saturday night, I’ll do major spa-like skin hydration treatment. I will slather some Extreme Recovery Cream over top of my Face oil and then head off to sleep to let it all soak in. I layer it on thick, and I am always amazed how my skin sucks up all these rich products and gives me a fabulous morning glow. Plus, all these products have the most beautiful aromas!
Retinol Supreme Eye Serum
The last product I want to mention is the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum. This has been a game-changer for me. I have dark circles under my eyes. They drive me crazy. This has been the only thing I’ve found that truly seems to help. At night I pat this mild retinol serum under my wrinkled, stressed eyes, and I’m so pleased when I wake up to find the darkness has lifted a lot!
And it didn’t take months for me first to see results. I saw a difference within a few days. Now I use the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum 4-5 times a week to keep the darkness away and keep the skin under my eyes light and bright.
I could go on and on about these products since they are all great! I’m all about simplicity and quality, and that’s what Colleen Rothschild delivers.
So, if you are tired of what you have been using, and you are ready to test these products out for yourself, hop on over to look at the Colleen Rothschild Bestsellers!
Get glowing, Girl!
