10 Chic Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Outfits I’m Loving for Fall 2026

Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can feel overwhelming. With thousands of amazing pieces to choose from, figuring out what to buy is hard enough. But once you’ve found those great pieces, another question pops up…

What do I wear with them?

That’s why I always think in complete outfits, not just individual pieces. I like to buy everything at once because otherwise I never seem to find the perfect shoes, the right bag, or the jewelry to finish the look. I end up with a closet full of great pieces—and nothing that feels completely finished —and that’s stressful! I’d much rather have a complete outfit that’s ready to wear the minute fall arrives.

So I did the styling for you.

I’ve put together 10 chic fall outfits built around my favorite Anniversary Sale finds. Each look starts with a standout piece—a jacket, sweater, dress, or pair of pants—and is finished with the shoes, handbag, jewelry, and accessories that pull it all together.

Because every piece is part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, you can build a complete fall outfit—and save hundreds of dollars while you’re at it.

Now comes the fun part. Let’s take a look.

NOTE: The Sale is now open to ALL CARDHOLDERS! It will be open to the general public on Saturday, July 18, at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (midnight ET)

Shopping with Public Access? Here’s what to do now:  Browse the sale, add your favorite items to your shopping bag (or Wish List), and be ready to check out the moment public access opens on July 18. Your bag doesn’t reserve items, but it makes checkout much faster—which is important because the most popular pieces can sell out quickly.

1. Burgundy Print Dress

Mixing texture is what makes this look feel so rich. The painterly print already has beautiful visual movement, then the woven handbag adds real texture and depth. When you combine interesting prints with tactile fabrics, an outfit feels layered, luxurious, and thoughtfully styled. Love the cool sunglasses too!

2. Camel Cape & Chocolate Brown

A cape is one of the easiest ways to make a simple outfit look extraordinary. They’re having a big moment this fall, and for good reason. Throw one over a turtleneck and jeans or trousers, and suddenly your outfit has movement, elegance, and just the right amount of drama.

3. Royal Blue Satin Top

Satin isn’t just for evenings anymore. A gorgeous satin blouse instantly dresses up everyday basics, especially when paired with sleek black pants. The rich royal blue does all the work here—it’s striking without being loud, proving that beautiful fabric and color can be your best accessories.

4. Scarf Sweater

This is one of my favorite new sweater trends. The attached scarf gives you several styling options—you can tie it, drape it, or knot it, for a number of looks. It’s like getting several sweaters in one, and the elbow-length sleeves make it especially elegant.

5. Paisley Sweater Dress

Most sweater dresses are solid, so this elegant paisley print feels wonderfully fresh. The fine knit skims instead of clings, giving you all the comfort of a sweater dress with a much more polished, sophisticated look. It’s an easy way to stand out without trying too hard.

6. Green Textured Cardigan & Bootcut Jeans

Sometimes one small trend is all you need to freshen your wardrobe. Olive green is one of fall’s standout colors, and this textured cardigan is an easy way to wear it. The gold buttons add a refined touch, and paired with great-fitting bootcut jeans, it’s the kind of outfit you’ll reach for all season.

7. Burgundy Shirt Dress

You can never go wrong with a great shirt dress. This one stands out for its feminine fit-and-flare shape and the way the wide belt beautifully defines the waist. I love how the softly puffed 3/4 length sleeves add personality and balance. It’s classic, flattering, and effortlessly chic—a dress you’ll wear for years. Be sure to pop the color for a chic look!

8. Textured Sweater & Fringe Jacket

Texture can make even the simplest outfit look more interesting. Instead of a plain knit, this lightweight pointelle sweater has just enough detail to catch the eye without adding bulk. If you tend to get too warm in heavy sweaters, it’s a beautiful way to add richness without extra weight. It’s the perfect layering sweater to wear under a jacket or a cool statement coat like this fringe one.

9. Forest Green Dress

If you’re ready for a change from black, which can often be a little harsh near the face as we age, this deep forest green is incredibly elegant. The modern boat neckline (very on-trend at the moment) feels sophisticated, while the wide belt creates beautiful definition at the waist. It’s understated, timeless, and architecturally quite beautiful. This dress is guaranteed to turn heads for all the right reasons.

10. Pink Sweater & Leather Pants

Leather pants have a naturally modern, edgy feel, so I love balancing them with something soft and feminine. The bright pink knit keeps the outfit approachable and fresh instead of severe. It’s that contrast—structured with soft, bold with feminine—that makes the whole look feel effortlessly chic.

One Last Styling Tip

Fashion trends come and go, but beautifully styled outfits never go out of style. I hope these looks spark a few new ideas and help you build a fall wardrobe that feels modern, elegant, and completely you.
