It’s never been hard to find comfy, warm slippers; it’s just that many looked pretty “old lady.” Lately, I’ve noticed a bunch of new slippers that are snuggly and modern. Here are some that are for perfect right now as head indoors and tuck into our homes.
1. Mule Slippers
The cool thing about many of the newest slippers that they look like shoes. I had to do a doubletake on this pair because they’re just so sporty.
A slip-on mule with a sneaker platform makes sense, and that shiny chain hardware is such a classy touch. Look how cute they are with your favorite loungewear. This type of slipper makes your loungewear look less like “loungey” and more just like a comfy, modern outfit.
2. Plush Studded Slides
As we just saw with the mule slippers and now these, embellishment on slippers is the trend. Silver studs mixed with leopard print give these plush slides a fun, modern edge. These slippers shine when you wear them with something simple and classic like this creamy boucle sweater jacket, a stretchy tank, and black, opaque leggings.
3. Pretty Poufs
Sometimes you want a slipper that looks more flirty and feminine, and in this case, I would choose these dressy pink satin slippers. (They also come in a gorgeous taupe color that I really like too!) These are nice to wear with a nightie or when you want to snuggle up and just feel pretty.
4. Sneaker Slippers
Here’s another great slipper that tricks you into thinking it is a shoe and works really well with our new at-home lifestyle. This wooly loafer sneaker is sporty and cozy. It’s ideal when you are working from home and want to feel dressed for your day, not like you are only half there.
The light gray is lovely with jeans, but this slipper also comes in a chic camel too. Doesn’t that furry lining make you want to dive right in?
Here are some more comfy, warm slippers for women with a modern look and feel.
