What to Wear on a Beach Vacation : 8 Cute Outfits Your Trip
Whether visiting Cape Cod, Malibu, or Miami, there’s more to a beach vacation than lying in the sun. Shopping and outdoor lunches are also a big part of the fun, and so is a cute outfit to go with it. Here are some breezy beach vacation outfits that are relaxed, stylish, and comfy for surf and turf.
1. Walking Around the Beach
A soft, flowing maxi that you slip on over your swimsuit, or wear just as a sundress when you feel like going for a walk, is the ultimate in beach loungewear.
You’ll look and feel tranquil in this gorgeous pink-tiered sundress that is feminine and modern. Add a cute palm leaf bag, a pearly slide, and sparkly tropical earrings for an island girl look.
2. Shopping and Sightseeing
When you’re tired of the beach and want to enjoy a nice lunch on the patio, do some shopping, or go sightseeing, this monochromatic beach look is chic.

Hi Janet, Great point about covering up those sun-deprived legs! After the long winter or just using good sense and keeping out of the sun, our legs can look pretty pasty!

Great question! Well, 5’5 is not that short! But to answer your question, Yes you can wear a long skirt, but you might want to pair it with wedge sandals to give you some height. There are lots of comfy styles of them these days.
