Cute Summer Outfits from Northern Reflections
Hi Ladies, Summer is almost here, and I’m celebrating by sharing some fabulous new arrivals from Northern Reflections. Whether you’re headed to your cottage, going away on vacation, or you’re just hanging out in your backyard this summer, it’s always more fun when you can slip into something cute and comfy!

Pleated Summer Dress
Once the warm weather arrives, I love to start wearing cute summer dresses, and this one is perfect for my casual lifestyle.
This darling pleated dress has a cheery, bold print that’s such a fresh change from all those dark winter colors. I love the way the pretty pink flowers pop against the stunning blue background!
Summer is all about no fuss and comfort, and the fit of this dress makes it soft and freeing! It’s slightly relaxed with a little extra room at the bust and waist, making it flowy, but not frumpy!
Look closely, and you will see pretty pleating down the front, and a cute tassel tie-neck. The three-quarter-length sleeves are my favorite because they cover my upper arms, but the shorter length is sporty and more youthful than a long sleeve. Bonus! These ones have a button, so you can adjust them.
Summer dresses are usually a little shorter, with many more like long tops – too short! This dress is a perfect summer length for me. It’s designed to fall just above the knee, which makes it a little sporty, but it still feels comfortable and appropriate.
It’s also one of those dresses you can style up or down, depending on where you are going. You can wear it with nice sandals, a beaded bracelet, some earrings, and a cute bag to a casual workplace, out to dinner, or even to an afternoon get-together like a baby shower.
This dress would also look great styled with sneakers and a denim jacket, for a more laid-back, sporty look. It’s super lightweight, so it’s perfect for travel too.
Bermuda Shorts for Gals with Curves
Do you wear shorts? These white Microsand Bermuda shorts are another easy-to-wear summer find! Not only are they longer with a 12 ” inseam, but they are fantastic for curvy gals like me.
If you are an hourglass (which I am) or have a pear-shaped body, and find that shorts often fit perfectly in the waist but are tight across the hips, try these. They have a great fit, super flattering length and have been specially sanded to feel a little silkier than regular denim.

Demin Skort and Eyelet Side Tie Top
Here’s the alternative I’m talking about. This versatile denim skort looks like a skirt, but it’s actually shorts underneath! I love skorts because they are perky and practical, and I’m so happy they’re back in style because I used to live in them! This one has a flattering wide waistband and some built-in stretch. There are no buttons or zippers. You just pull it on and pop on a stylish summer tee.
Eyelet Side Tide Tee
My darling coral tee is right on-trend. Eyelet is everywhere this summer, and the eyelet trim on the sleeves gives it a lovely, feminine touch. It’s also very comfy to wear because it has a little extra room at the bust and waist. I like how it drapes slightly over my stomach to cover any lumps or bumps, and the flirty front tie gives a carefree summer vibe! This also comes in a pretty blue.
