Long Summer Tops to Wear With White Jeans that Hide Your Belly
There’s nothing as fresh and chic looking as wearing bright, white jeans in the summer. But if you carry more weight than you’d like around your middle or bottom, white jeans can be a scary thought.
No worries. Remember, you don’t have to tuck your top into your white jeans or wear a short top.

Long Summer Tee
Instead, you can wear a long summer top with white jeans to solve the problem, and it can look great! Here are 5 new, long summer tops paired with white jeans that prove my point.

Striped Tunic Shirt + White Bootcut Jeans
A long button-up shirt over a pair of white jeans is a classy look, and when it has vertical stripes, it is extra slimming, too. This gorgeous orange shirt has real punch, and the white trim adds a little something extra.
If you thought you could only wear a shirt like this over skinny jeans, think again. Try slim bootcut jeans which are a little more on point this season. A sandal with small to medium heel will help make your legs look like they go on for miles.

Long Blue Shirt + White Cropped Jeans
Here’s another long shirt to wear over white jeans that is elevated a notch because of these cute side buttons. I love this stunning blue color with these white cropped straight-leg jeans, and the rounded hem on the shirt gives you curves instead of making you look wide across the hips.
You might be tempted to wear white accessories, but I love the contrast of the earthy brown bag and braided shoes with this denim inspired shirt. It gives the outfit a natural, earthy look.

3. Artsy Tunic + White Straight Leg Jeans
A long top or sweater with black leggings may be your go-to outfit in winter, but in summer, it’s too heavy. Instead, switch it to an artsy tunic top and a pair of white, cropped skinny or straight-leg jeans.
This painterly print top is as light and pretty as a Monet painting! It’s just long enough to cover your private bits, and the three-quarter length sleeves with the dotted cuffs make it sporty and youthful. I love adding pink and blue accessories to tie the whole look together!

5. Linen Poncho Tunic + Linen Pants
I thought I would throw this in for all of you ladies who like white pants but are not into jeans. If you like a boho look- this can work. It’s a long linen tunic over loose linen pants, giving off a free-spirited, artsy look. White accessories play up the trim and make the outfit look sophisticated.
Here are a few more long tops and tunics that would look wonderful with white jeans this summer.
More long tops!
If you prefer leggings over jeans, all these tops will work with white leggings/jeggings, too, so long as your bottom and crotch are covered. White leggings are semi-transparent, and you need to be covered front and back, or it’s too much information, if you know what I mean.
Hi,
Thank you for finally giving me ideas for using my white pants again. I bought them a while back, and I was wearing them with a few subtle solid-colored tops, but then it got boring, and I packed my white pants in the never wear section of the wardrobe again. I liked the linen shirt idea and will try it out tonight when I go to the movies.

I love white skinny jeans and pants — they are more summery, it’s true! But I notice (on myself) that white tight-fitting skinnies and leggings are not as flattering (they show off the cellulite if you’re not trim and fit!) unless the tunic or dress is long enough to cover the bumpy areas of the thighs. I still wear my black leggings in summer, just as I would wear a black sundress or maxi skirt. I like black leggings in summer with white linen tunics and other summery tops. Silver metallic sandals keep the look lighter, I think.
