3 Festive Ways to Wear Red Velvet Leggings

Velvet leggings are luxurious, glamorous, and festive this time of year. I love wearing my Spanx black velvet leggings so much in winter that I got another pair just like them in red! What do you wear with red velvet leggings? Here’s what I paired with mine,  plus a couple of other great outfit ideas for you.

We’ve gone from Lycra and Ponte leggings to faux leather leggings. Now velvet leggings are the latest trend, and it’s no wonder. They’re super soft and cozy, adding a gorgeous touch of drama to an everyday outfit. Spanx really does make the best velvet leggings!

Red Velvet Leggings + Tunic Sweater

Spanx makes the best velvet leggings!  They always look great with a tunic sweater, so I usually wear my velvet leggings with a relaxed, white, or off-white turtleneck. This one has some beautiful texture that offsets the velvet leggings’ smoothness. To make these leggings look sporty and fun, I like to wear my favorite lug sole booties, but dressier booties also pair really well with velvet leggings.

Red Velvet Leggings + Blazer

Another way to style red velvet leggings is to wear them with a long blazer. This is a much dressier look for holiday parties and evening cocktail events.  Wear this pretty camisole underneath your jacket. Then, accent with a glamorous, studded clutch and these fine, suede, pointy-toe booties. Don’t forget some gorgeous earrings. What a great evening look!
