Pretty Pearl Sweaters – How to Style Them at Holiday Time
Who doesn’t love a little sparkle and shine at holiday time? A glittery sequin top or a crystal-jeweled cardigan is fun and festive, but a pretty pearl sweater feels the most romantic and Christmassy!

Pearl sweaters feel rare. You don’t see them around much, except at Christmastime, but that makes them special.
They’re traditional, feminine, and very lady-like. The look of pearls on a soft, white sweater makes me think of sunshine on glistening snow!
A dressy statement sweater like this calls for something more than your regular blue jeans so here is an easy-style recipe for the holidays: Pair a glamorous pearl-embellished sweater like this with chic velvet pants. Then add chic black booties with gold heels.
Velvet is another special fabric we tend to reserve for the holidays. Its smooth nap and soft, plush feel go beautifully with a classy pearl sweater.
These luxurious black velvet pants are a slim straight-leg style, which means they are a little wider at the hem than a skinny (but less wide than a straight leg). There’s no zipper at the front of these pants, which I like because it means no bulk at the tummy.
