10 Beautiful, Budget-Friendly Winter Sweaters

Rust Striped Budget Friendly Winter Sweaters

1. Cozy Après Ski

Ooh, I feel so Chalet Chic in this sporty Après ski sweater, and I don’t even ski (Lol!).  I love this colorful Nordic design in this beautiful, warm, fresh mix of rust, black, gray, and cream.

The mock turtleneck makes it more modern and flattering than a traditional higher-fitted turtleneck, and I like how it adds some nubby texture to my casual look.

2. Ribbed Boatneck Sweater

This soft, cozy ribbed-neck sweater has two things going on that give it high style. Firstly, it has a boat neck, which is one of my favorite necklines because it draws the eye from shoulder to shoulder, making your shoulders look stronger and not so midlife slumpy.

Also, do you see those artsy batwing sleeves? If you want a more creative look, these do the trick. They’re different, slightly dramatic, and look so chic.

3. Funky Statement  Sleeve Sweater

Here’s another sweater that will add a creative vibe to a casual winter outfit.  This cool, scrunched-sleeve sweater is really unique. The front is ribbed, while the sleeves are cable-knit and bunched into tiny folds.

I’ve owned a million and one plain sweaters. It’s nice to have a few statement sweaters like this one,  just for fun. I call it classic with a playful twist.

4. Artsy Mixed Knit

This may look like a vest over a sweater, but it’s really just one big chunky sweater.

It’s similar to a color-blocked sweater, although I’d call it pattern-blocked because of the black ribbed front and the artsy graphic knit sleeves.

This imaginative knit is great for gals looking for something a little different than your typical ski sweater. It’s thoroughly modern!

5. Earthy Fair Isle Sweater

Here’s a sweater for all my classic gals looking for style and a big dose of comfort. This sporty Fair Isle crewneck is uber-soft and warm, keeping you cozy all winter long.

Brown, tan, and coral are a friendly, welcoming color mix. I love the way it pops when I wear these black velvet jeans.

6. Asymmetric Tunic Turtleneck

If you love leggings, you know that finding just the right long sweater to wear with them takes some work. It has to be long enough to cover your front and behind, but you don’t want it to be so long and loose that it makes you look frumpy.

This chic poncho-type sweater, with the hi-low cut and dramatic batwing sleeves, fits the bill. I like to push up the sleeves so I’m not drowning in this sweater, plus it gives it a more youthful look.  Throw on some cute booties, and you are all set! No wonder this is a bestseller on Amazon.

7. Blue Dotted Stripe Sweater

Here is a classic sweater with a cool new design. This perky striped sweater has a mix of colorful, dotted stripes in pretty Easter Egg colors. Talk about the perfect sweater to wear in winter and right into Spring.

I like the look of my white puffer coat with it because it makes the soft pastel stripes pop!

8. Cowboy Colorblock Sweater

Western styles are trending, which is why you might want to pick up this sweater. It has a chunky block of color in earthy brown, rust, black, and white, but what really gives it that cowboy look and feel is the chunky blanket stitching that ties everything together.

If brown isn’t your thing,  no worries. This popular sweater comes in countless color combinations, so have a peek!

9. Cozy Mock Neck Sweater

Here’s a sweater that is as soft as a cloud and super cozy. It’s a slouchy pullover with a drop shoulder and a boxy, oversized fit. The light blue color is heavenly, and I love the modern mock neck.

I prefer to half-tuck this sweater into my jeans rather than let it all hang out. It really does have that cool girl look, right?

10. Chic Black and White Crewneck

Even though I love wearing color, there are days when I’m in a black-and-white mood. That’s when I reach for something classic and casual, like this preppy black-and-white crew neck sweater.

It has a pretty traditional pattern and a very soft-to-the-touch feel. I usually throw it on with black jeans, a cropped jacket, and a crisp white shirt, leaving the shirt tails tucked out.

  1. St. Ives Firming mineral clay mask is what I have been using for years. It rinses off nicely. I had to order from Amazon the last time but could not find it store.
