5 Fresh Ways to Style White Jeans for a Winter Getaway
If you’re headed south for a sun vacation or just lucky enough to live somewhere warm, a pair of fresh white jeans is a wardrobe must. Here are 5 of the latest styles + tips on how to wear white jeans to look Age-amazing!

1. White Straight Leg Jeans
For many years, I was hooked on skinny jeans, but when the fashion world suddenly put them on the back burner, I had to get my head around switching to straight legs. How about you?
It turns out that was no biggie. I now prefer straight-leg jeans, especially in white, because they’re more forgiving.
For example, these white, high-waisted, straight-leg jeans from Paige are a touch wider at the ankle than skinny jeans. This makes them look more relaxed (less sausage-like) and a touch more elegant, even with this raw edge.
Style Tip: These jeans have a beachy, natural vibe, so try creating a coastal look. Add sandy neutrals and lots of texture, like a loose linen tunic, a straw bag, and beaded boho hoops. Cute white mules add a touch of height and balance things out since the tunic is long.

2. White Wide Leg Jeans
If you like the most fashion-forward type of white jeans, go wider. These sharp-looking flares from Rails at Nordstrom fit the bill. They have a high waist and slight crop, but not too much, and the fit is great. I love the way they skim your hip and then gently flare out. It’s the look of wide without the bulk. And the price is right.
Style Tip: Balance wide-leg jeans with a ruffle sleeve top. Ruffles at the shoulders make your shoulders look as wide as the flares, creating a beautiful hourglass shape. I’d also like to give a shout-out to these darling raffia sandals. The buckle is adorable, and as for that bag…here’s a case where matchy-matchy looks modern!

3. White Bootcut Jeans
If you’ve visited my Amazon shop or watched one of my Amazon Livestreams, you’ve heard me rave about one of my favorite jeans – the Itty Bitty Boot Jeans from Democracy. These are midrise jeans with the perfect flare. These jeans are bootcut with a small flare halfway between a straight leg and a larger flare.
You can wear flat shoes in these jeans and not drown your boots, but they are long enough to wear a 2″ heel.
Style Tip: There’s no better vacation getaway look than white jeans with a classic striped tee. This one is extra nice because of the handy 3/4 length sleeves that keep you covered but not looking dowdy and that French shade of blue. It’s a lively change from the navy, which is more serious.

4. Cropped, Off White Jeans
Bright white is, well, bright! That’s not everyone’s cup of tea. If you prefer a more muted shade, how about this softer version of white called Blanched Almond.
Now, forgetting about the color for a minute, what do you think of the style? The tiny fringed triangle patch at the bottom of these cropped flares is what caught my eye. It’s funny how a small, simple detail like this can make a pair of white jeans stand out!
Style Tip: If you are somewhere tropical, take inspiration from your surroundings with a breezy tropical print top. I love this cute Botanical tee from Tommy Bahama with its relaxed fit and cuff sleeves. And didn’t I find the perfect purse and metallic/rope espadrilles to go with it?

5. White Flare Jeans
Hello, Flares! Meet the wide trend full-on with these slouchy white full-flare jeans. These are looser and less fitted than I’ve shown before, especially around the thighs. Think of full linen pants you breeze around in, and then think of them in denim. That’s the look.
Style Tip: These white jeans are long and meant to be that way. Instead of trying to make them shorter by wearing heels, try embracing the look by wearing sneakers or low-heel slides. A fitted or tucked-in shirt is most flattering with wide flares, so you don’t look wide from top to bottom,
One final note: Are you concerned white jeans will make you look heavy, so avoid them? Check out my post on how you can look fabulous in size 2 or 16 white jeans!
I love the looks so chic and modern. It could also be white linen too.
I’m a convert. As a pear shape, I’d given up white bottoms long ago but studied the tips here. The secret is balancing the top with the right proportions. Now getting compliments, so thanks to you!
Nothing screams summer more than a great-fitting pair of white jeans. I love all the styling options you showed!

Like the look of over 40 and I am over 60
I love the addition of the link to buy the clothes!
I love the look of white pants with a dark top and pure, bright colors. I guess I’m lucky — I’m a “banana,” so I can wear light on the bottom. Makes up for the long feet (smile).
