J.Crew New Arrivals: 4 Fab Fall Outfits Styled for You!
Hi Ladies, Last week in my Styled for You series, I featured new arrivals from LOFT. Today, I’ve got some things to show you from another favorite brand of mine, J.Crew.
I’m a classics gal at heart, but I love a modern twist, and that’s exactly what you will find at J. Crew. The company has been around since 1947, doing what it always does best: modern basics.
I love J. Crew’s casual, sophisticated, timeless styles with lots of color and a dash of fun. When I’m feeling a little drab and want some brightness and energy in my wardrobe, that’s where I head. Plus, the quality is good, and the prices are reasonable too!
J. Crew is known for being halfway between preppy and cool, which is the perfect description if you’ve ever shopped there. Here’s a look at some of their newest pieces, on point for Fall and styled for you!

This Fall’s Favorite Dress – The Silky Shirtdress
Silky shirtdresses have been trending since last Fall, and this is J. Crew’s version of this popular style. What caught my eye was the stunning Delphinium blue color. It’s unique and bold without being flashy, and I bet it’s quite a flattering shade on most women. This dress is slightly more relaxed than most silky shirtdresses I’ve seen. I might push or turn up those sleeves for a more youthful look, and I think that bow at the waist might look better than just a tie.
It’s paired here with a cute piece, this cropped lady jacket. Blue on blue is a modern look and accessorized with the new shoe -slingbacks, and this cute bag and pearl earrings; this is a casually chic look that you could wear in so many places!

Love these Faux Leather Pants
Leather pants are in all the stores, but often they are the tight leggings style, so I was pleased to see these faux leather trousers. I haven’t tried them on, but they look nice! Even though they are pleated, they don’t look too bulky in the front, and I love that creamy ribbed mock neck to wear with them. This is such a rich look, especially when you add these fabulous textured shoes, bags, and bangles.
I find J. Crew always has a lot of interesting textures in their clothes and accessories, which means it’s easy to get more creative when styling.

A Stand-Out Sweater Lady Jacket
J.Crew wouldn’t be J.Crew without stripes. It’s one of their signature prints and has been done a million times. This sporty striped sweater lady jacket in the season’s color (tomato red) is a real head-turner! It looks fabulous with their new wide-leg jeans and some cool accessories. Have you ever bought boots or shoes from J.Crew? I find they have an excellent selection!

How Cool is this Cropped Double Breasted Blazer
Here’s a great example of how J.Crew takes a classic and gives it a modern twist. This chic double-breasted blazer gets the chop, resulting in a cool-looking cropped jacket to go with high-waisted jeans.
Just because J. crew has preppy roots, doesn’t mean it doesn’t do edgy. This look is headed in that direction, but still looks refined, as J.Crew always does. Be sure to check out this ruffle neck striped shirt, too. J.Crew is known for its quality button-downs that you can wear season after season and are styled in multiple creative ways.
