Ruffles are sweet, pretty, and romantic, which is a lovely look in itself. But if you are looking for a way to make ruffles look edgy, then take a look at what I did with this gorgeous ruffle front blouse.
This striking blouse with the cascading ruffle down the front is from Eli Tahari. I found it at Saks and was knocked out by the incredible color.
It’s the most delicious deep cranberry shade, and it looks fantastic paired with black pants or a black skirt, which makes it pop.
To turn down the sweetness and pump up the cool factor, I added this buttery burgundy leather jacket. The leather and the moto-style are in sharp contrast with this very feminine blouse, and it’s cascading ruffle and gives the outfit a modern urban edge.
Black suede booties, artsy gold jewelry, and a neutral bag make for a chic fall look.
Here’s a closer look at the tone on tone effect and the zigzag detail on this ravishing ruffle. Details make the difference!
Have a great week, everyone!
