A Classy Way to Style Women’s Corduroy Jeans
If you caught my post about my new sparkly holiday sweater, you would have noticed I was wearing some charming women’s corduroy jeans which were colorful and different. The sequined sweater was one way to style those pants. Here is another.
These are the sporty, burgundy corduroy jeans I’m talking about. Fall is all about texture, which is why I love look # 2 – an earthy combo of these fine-ribbed cords worn with a bouclé striped sweater.
See the rich mix of textures? It makes this outfit so cozy and inviting.
These pants are tapered like skinny jeans. We often think of corduroy as thick and stiff, but not these pants. I fell in love with them because they are lightweight and a little stretchy too, which makes them very comfy.
They’re easy to move in, and style-wise, they’re a little different.
Do you see the button fly? It’s a beautiful detail.
And don’t you love the big side pockets and the smaller cargo-style pocket that overlaps at the thigh?
These pants have a utilitarian or “cargo” style.
And, of course, the burgundy-fig color (yes, that’s what they call it) is stunning! When I find pants in a unique shade like this, I automatically snap them up. Blue jeans and black jeans get old fast! As for my hobo bag, you will find it here.
My oversized, cowl neck sweater is loose and comfy without being sloppy. It’s cotton, so it’s lightweight, and I can wear it right into spring. The nubby texture is so easy to wear and helps downplay fine lines and wrinkles because the surface in the top helps everything blend in.
If you like skinny jeans, but want something different, then take a closer look at this outfit. I’ve included the shopping links above!
Where is that gorgeous bag from?
Hi Kay, That’s a Michael Kors Lexington bag, and you can find it here:https://rstyle.me/+PutHr0vDtU92kJTfAXAyAg
