Black and White Layered Sweater Outfit
It’s sweater weather, and I have been having some excellent luck finding cute, reasonably priced sweaters to wear. Remember the pretty Lavender sweater I shared? How about the cozy rust turtleneck, the chic brown mock neck, and that fun blue fringe sweater? My closet is busting with sweaters from Amazon Fashion, and now I’ve found one more. Check out this cute black and white knit that is great for creating a cute, layered sweater outfit.
Bright, colorful sweaters are my go-to in the winter when I want to brighten my mood and add some punch to my wardrobe. But there are also times when I feel like slipping on something quieter and a little more classic, and it’s then when I turn to that never-fail combo of black and white.
A black and white outfit is always sophisticated, even when it’s as casual as black jeans, a white shirt, and this classic black and white sweater. I love how soft and comfortable this sweater is. It’s perfect on its own, or it is light enough that you can layer it under a blazer or jacket.
I thought I try a layered look for a change and wear it over a crisp white shirt for a modern, preppy look.
It works great with my favorite high-waisted straight-leg jeans. I wear these everywhere and am surprised how well I’ve taken to this new pant style. I was a big skinny jeans girl, but the straight leg is my new favorite. I think it is because I buy the slim straight leg, which is a little more through the leg and ankle than a regular straight leg. I find the slightly more fitted cut much more figure-flattering for me.
I bought these suede lug sole boots a few weeks ago, and I wear them everywhere. They are super comfy and just the perfect height for the cropped slim, straight-leg jeans. I think the side buckle adds a classy touch to what could be a very masculine Frankenstein kind of boot!
There’s the look. A white shirt is always so fresh peeking out the top, and this one is fantastic because it is no iron! Turn up the color on the shirt for a relaxed look and push up your sleeves, too, if you like more of a sporty feel. The last word is about my Coach bag. I’m finally moving from carrying big bags to small ones like this, and I love the feeling of not having to lug so much stuff. It took a while to make me realize I really didn’t need half of what I was carrying around all the time! This bag also comes with a long strap if I want to wear it as a crossbody.
